Jimmy + Amanda {Lake Kerr Wedding}

Amanda + Jimmy's wedding could not have been any more perfect!! I knew from our very first meeting that their wedding on Lake Kerr was going to turn into one of my favorites. For one, they are such an amazing couple! They keep God at the center of their relationship + their love for each other just radiates!! Just looking at the two of them will make you smile! For two, it was going to be a laid back, backyard wedding (how can you go wrong with that??!) And when I arrived it assured me even more (not to mention the weather was AMAZING)!! This is their families lake house and they had turned it into wedding paradise, seriously! They had decorated the house so beautifully and set up the perfect ceremony spot looking over the lake. The two of them praying before the wedding together was so intimate - I was in tears!! Their vows were sweet as can be and my favorite part? The dads praying with them during the ceremony - that was so special and the first time I have seen that!! Following the ceremony was the BEST BBQ I have ever eaten in my life...and I eat a lot of it!!! They made all of the food themselves and it was delicious! Oh and the mother/son dance...only the greatest ever!! I loved how after the wedding festivities, they changed into their comfortable attire and just hung around, chatting with friends and family dancing, playing corn hole.. even some of the boys were skipping rocks on the lake! We also got to slip away for a few special shots after they changed - LOVE their shirts for this! OH and there were puppies - lots of puppies and it was heaven hahah. I felt like I was part of the family, y'all! Congratulations Jimmy + Amanda, I am so honored you chose me to capture the start of your new life as Mr & Mrs Thorne!
